I was born February 14th 1973 in Örebro, Sweden.

Caught the interest for music the first time at the end of the 70'ies when I heard The Sweet on the radio. I instantly started hitting pots and pans and performed rhythms underheard of in a kitchen before.
At the age of ten I got my first drum kit, a Meazzi "Hollywood" set, bought by my dad from the drummer in COUNTRY ROAD. A set including three toms, a snare, one kick drum, hi-hat and two cymbals. The first steps towards super stardom was taken.

In the early years I formed several bands with close mates, however they played any instruments or not, that did not matter.
The first more "serious" act was a Rock band called JAM SESSION that I was playing with around 1987.  We did a bunch of local shows playing mainly covers with acts like BLACK SABBATH, CREEDENCE and KISS.
My interest for more underground Metal soon took over (seeing STILLBORN as well as CANDLEMASS at the age of 15 did help) and I guess one can say that it shaped my form of playing more into the extreme side of things, which became even clearer when I formed the band WORTOX (later changed name to ALTAR) together with some cool motherfucking dudes from the local school in Kumla.

After a few years playing local clubs and practicing drums more or less every day, I was called in to do an audition for Fagersta Death/Thrash outfit SUFFER in 1990.  Which turned out to be a great step for myself. During the years in SUFFER I certainly developed my own personal style in Metal drumming. This was also the first band that I recorded a proper album with; Namely "Structures" (Napalm Rds), in 1994. However, unfortunately SUFFER disband the same year and hasn't been seen ever since.

During 1995 I was asked to help the Grind/Metal bastads NASUM to play drums for them on their two first live shows ever, in Åstorp, Sweden and at Knack Club, Berlin, Germany.  I also recorded a couple of songs with a band called DION FORTUNE (featuring singer Chris Laney, later with Pretty Maids/Randy Piper's Animal/Zan Clan and Simon Johansson of Wolf/Memory Garden, plus that Mike Wead of Mercyful Fate/King Diamond/Cadlemass  recorded the whole thing) for a promo tape. The demo recording was however never finalized and the whole project was pretty much doomed from day one to be honest. Through DION FORTUNE I met the guitarist Juha Sulasalmi for the first time, a guy that would get me back on track a couple of years later.

In the mid 90'ies I moved to Stockholm and started a record label, store, fanzine and mailorder called HEATHENDOOM MUSIC. Which I worked with until 1999. During the label years I also continued playing drums for the kind of progressive Heavy metal act T.A.R. as well as Doomsters SERPENT, a band that included the former SUFFER guitarist and good friend Uffe Samuelsson, as well as long time mate Lasse Rosenberg (Entombed) and Piotr Wawrzeniuk (Therion).
One of the bands that I used to listen to a lot back then was THE EVERDAWN from the city of Luleå, up North, in Sweden. I remember when they released a MCD called "Opera Of The Damned", and they dropped by Stockholm to play a show there one Saturday evening in 1996. Oddly enough their drummer Oscar Karlsson (R.I.P.) never showed up, so after a quick rehearsal I jumped in and played all the songs from the MCD as well as a W.A.S.P. cover ("L.O.V.E Machine".)  After the show the people were stunned how good the band was, and they thought that I was the band's permanent drummer, which I wasn't of course. But it was a cool thing to jump straight into it. Still love the songs and the members are all very good friends of mine.

During the year 2001 I was contacted by my good old friend Juha Sulasalmi, he was searching for a new drummer for his band NOMINON. After a quick audition, I joined forces with the band and we immediately started working. Things really took off in 2005 when we released the second album, "Recremation". Both of us have continued ever since to write Death Metal together and we are also the only remaining members to this day that are still  there, fighting the fight. NOMINON was also the first band that I ever made a proper European tour with, during 2004.

2003 I was called in to "try out" for Black/Thrashers IN AETERNUM. A band located in Sandviken, Sweden. This resulted in the Mini-album "No Salvation", that was released early 2004. A bunch of other albums and EP's followed over the years.
In 2004 I actually joined NIFELHEIM briefly, we rehearsed a couple of times in Gothenburg and I was set to join the band. Unfortunately I couldn't join full-time at the end of the day due to tours and stuff with IN AETERNUM. Worth mentioning is the "Dawn Of A New Aeon" album by the same band that was released in 2006, which featured a guest solo by long time friend Mike Wead of King Diamond on the track "Pactum Diaboli".

The following years of 2007 to 2009 I recorded drums on the second and third BERGRAVEN album, a project that I was invited to play for through Tore Stjerna of Necromorbus Studio. This turned into a kick ass friendship with main man Pär Gustafsson.  The three of us (Pär, Tore and myself) also recorded a really fucking colossus of a Doom album under the NEX banner in 2007.
During these years  me and my brother from another mother; Cabbe Castervall (ex Hypnosia) rehearsed for a while with a project that he wanted to start named OBSCURITAS. For some reason he lost interest to continue working on that kick ass darkened Thrash project, so it never made it outside the rehearsal studio.
I also went down for a quick visit in Barcelona, Spain to record the drum tracks for the Candlemass "A Tale Of Creation"-cover together with the Death Metal heroes GRAVEYARD. A recording that also included guest vocals by Dan Swanö.
Not to forget, NOMINON was also very active releasing albums and touring both Europe and USA during this period.

In 2010 I joined forces with DESTRÖYER 666 for the first time, to do a proper North American tour through out the summer together with the Blacksters Enthroned.  A tour that was nothing but killer all the way.
Later in the year I also helped the Death Metal legend INTERMENT to play drums for them om a European tour as well, supporting the finnish black metal phenomena URN.

After the tour with INTERMENT I headed up to Uppsala to join the Thrashing power trio DIE HARD. With whom I recorded the album "Conjure The Legions" together with, as well as two EP's, before leaving due to conflicting schedule with other bands/commitments.
Later 2011 I got an invitation to play drums on a festival called Way Of Darkness in Germany for the pioneers BENEDICTION from Birmingham, England. The special thing about the whole event was that this would take place without no proper band rehearsals or what-so-ever! I took the challenge and did perform a whole setlist of 15 songs in front of a rabid crowd in Germany, which eventually lead to me performing lots of more shows (including a US tour supporting Bolt Thrower in the summer of 2013) with BENEDICTION spanning over 1,5 years or so.

In late 2012 I was contacted once again by Mr KK Warslut of the mighty Aussie band DESTRÖYER 666, now located in London, England. Their longtime drummer Mersus had left the band and they wanted me to come in and take over. So in December I joined the pack on a permanent basis, pretty much at the same time as the release of the fifth NOMINON album "The Cleansing". This actually led me to turn down an offer to join the legendary NIFELHEIM for the SECOND time around in less than ten years during early 2013 (how is that even possible I ask myself still?), simply because my commitments with the band D666 (as well as being the touring drummer for BENEDICTION) and NOMINON was almost already too much too handle for me.
DESTROYER 666 continued to tour and play festivals the coming years, and at the same time we also started to focus more and more on the material for a new album.

As a side note I'd like to mention that NOMINON has decided to take a break during the year of 2016 to see if there's any will and energy to continue with the band in the future?!
And even though the band IN AETERNUM had a eight year "hiatus" we're still active and working on new stuff, as we got together again in early 2015. A new EP was recorded in Feb 2016 at Studio Cave, Fagersta, Sweden.

The new DESTRÖYER 666 album "Wildfire" (Season of mist Rds) was released Feb 26th 2016, a promo video for the title track is out there as well. A massive list of shows and tours were performed all over the world to follow the release.

Not only was 2016 the year when the new EP "The Blasphemy Returns" with IN AETERNUM was released through Pulverised Records (CD &10"), also the loooooong-awaited and extremely delayed (to put it mildly) release of the third SERPENT album "Trinity" was released on VIC Records as well. An album that the band recorded back in 1999.

Early 2017 me and a bunch of old school friends got together and started a new Speed/Thrash/Death/Metal band called DREADFUL FATE. In June we went into the studio and recorded the debut EP release "The Sins Of Sodom". Felt just like home straight away hanging with these guys, so expect more aggressive stuff from us in the future. Later in the year I decided to quit DESTROYER 666 due to health complications, which made things difficult to do extensive tours. I recorded an EP before I left the band, in early September. The same month I also recorded the drum tracks for the 4th album "The Blasphemy Awakes" with Danish outfit THORIUM.

Another year of Metal drumming and mayhem started straight in 2018. In January I went in and recorded the drums for the debut album "Vengeance" with DREADFUL FATE. One of the most intense album I have ever recorded.
The DESTROYER 666 EP "Call of the wild" was released in February through Season Of Mist Rds and it turned out fkn blazing.
In the middle of everything I was also contacted by the Black Metal project/Band KVAEN. Which resulted in me saying YES to recording drums for a couple of songs, that still hasn't been recorded.
During the summer 2018 we also picked up the pieces of the band known to the world as NOMINON, and re-united after a three year hiatus. Plans for a sixth studio album is in the talks, and we're working slow, yet focused and determined, and label negotiations are taking place now as well.
The THORIUM album "Blasphemy Awakes" is released during the summer, which is followed by a couple of shows in Denmark.
In the autumn DREADFUL FATE headed out on a Swedish tour with giants WATAIN.

The start of the year 2019 brought nothing but hard work to the table, tons of neck breaking material were written and sorted out with DREADFUL FATE as well as NOMINON.
Recorded a couple of drum tracks for the debut album of KVAEN during August, as well as  jumped in for a few shows with good old school friends TOXAEMIA in October. Which resulted in me joining them on a permanent basis later in the year.
The DREADFUL FATE "Bringer Of Damnation" MCD was released during October, and pretty much at the same time the band decided to take a break to focus on other things for a while.

2020 started with rehearsals for the TOXAEMIA album, that I recorded the drum tracks for on a Saturday Feb 29th at StudioCave. The KVAEN alum "The funeral pyre" was released in February as well on Black Lion Rds. Turned out brilliant if you ask me!
The DREADFUL FATE 12" MLP "Bringer of damnation" was released also in February, so quite an hectic month for me.
In May I went through my second kidney transplantation, a successful one.
The TOXAEMIA album "Where paths divide" was released through EMANZIPATION PRODUCTIONS in November, the same label also released a collection of NOMINON old school 7" EP's entitled "Yesterdeath" a month later, just before christmas. Both albums recieved bunch of raving reviews.
in late 2020 I also wrote, arranged and recorded the drum tracks for five raging songs for a brand new project that I am involved in with my good mate Scott Fairfax of MEMORIAM. He had been asking for drum recordings for a loooong time, so finally I recorded some blasting songs that he now will have to sort out guitar riffs and solos for.
Another project that I took part of late in the year was SAINTS & SINNERS, recording a cover of EUROPE's old kick ass track "Scream of anger". A project started by Sebastian Ramstedt (NECROPHOBIC), and also featuring Tobias Christianson (GRAVE) and Erika Wagenius (more known to the world as the solo artist ERIKA.)
The last thing that happend in the year was me deciding to take a step out of TOXAEMIA. Things wasn't funny anymore, and therefore both parties come to the conclusion that it was better for us to go separate ways.

In May 2021 I went into StudioCave and recorded the drum tracks for the second 7" EP for the project group called ANGELBLAST. Solid and intense Black/Death morbidity.

During 2022 I joined the Death Metal all-star project DARKENED. The first thing I did with them was recording a promotional video for the song "Swallowed by the world" in August. I also reorded drums for the debut album "Alla Kvävs" for the Black Metal project URSTEN that was formed and run by my old friend Baron Ursten.

I also finally decided to start my own project, which I finally did during the summer under the monicker PERRACIDE. I quickly got a deal with the Danish label EMANZIPATION PRODUCTIONS. So I jump started with using the five drum tracks that I had recorded for the project with Scott Fairfax that never took off anyway. I sent the drum tracks around to my some of my fave peep's / musicians; Juha (NOMINON), Simon (VALKYRJA), Gord (DARKENED/ANGELBLAST) & Kraen (ARTILLERY/ex. SACRIFICIAL). All tracks turned out fucking amazing, so I contacted some of my fave singers to record some sick vocals on the trax, which led to Jörgen Sandström (GRAVE/ENTOMBED) and Marc Grewe (MORGOTH/COMECON) and many others joined in on the madness.

Stay on track by checking this website every now and then!! Cheers.

Keep Rotting And Rolling. See you out there!
